You found yourself left in the forest. In front of you, there is only a narrow opening. Go along with the road, use the bow to fight with whatever you encounter, and survive till you reach the exit point.
This is a solo project with a 4-month development duration.
The left hand would be holding the bow, whereas the right hand pulling the string.
The distance between the two hands would be mapped into the speed at which the arrow is fired.
The damage the arrow does to the enemy depends on the speed of the arrow.
The two mapping relationship is defined as y = kx + b
I composed and produced the original background music played throughout the game using Studio One. The music is made to present a symphonic yet tense atmosphere.
I self-produced the sound effects in the game, including the sound of the zombie dying and the sound of releasing the bow.
The zombie sound was created by synthesizing recordings from my classmates, where I asked them to make strange noises. The sound of bow release is made by mixing a series of recordings of me patting objects.
Studio One is used for this project.
