Play as a supervisor, listen to mission reports about the same target, and decide which story is the best.
As a spy, piece together a report by selecting dossier cards filled with invisible ink that could either enhance your report or make it absurd enough to secure your job in this declining economy.
Mission Impro-vable is an innovative board game that focuses on amusing players by asking them to come up with stories within a short period.
This game is collaboratively done by myself, Cathelina Zhan, Maggie Wang, and Alex Kim.
Multiple playtests were done and the final prototype was built based on the feedback we got.
We eventually decided that we would in the game:
Give supervisor more power: able to see the cards and the target
make it solely about justifying one's actions and trying to make an absurd and confusing story make sense
Add in the aspect of bluffing and misinformation missing from previous versions
